Wordpress sucks!! Blogger is ALL THE WAY TO GO

I recently was a web designer for a volunteering organisation for a very short period and I worked together with a man who has experience in being a webmaster of the website from a museum. Unfortunately our job came to an abrupt end, because some moron (a Dutch guy) didn't want to relinquish the rights he has over that website. This is quite dumb since he isn't working for that volunteering organisation anymore for quite a while now. We assumed he is afraid of being deprived from his job...man, this is typical Dutch jerkish behaviour!!!

Anyway, all this made me think of creating a page on Wordpress, just to try it out. I immediately saw you are being confronted with prices after you filled in your information, of course I chose the free version. I am a huge fan of html and css so I was searching for that option right away, because I have seen it when I was a web designer for that previous volunteering organisation......IT WASN'T THERE!!! I removed my page right away and I'm not bothering to use Wordpress anymore or in the forseeable future...what a sucky website!!!

I am on Blogger since 2007, but it wasn't until 2012 I am using it full-time. Perhaps Wordpress is a bit more advanced when you are a PAYING CUSTOMER, but the possibilities on Blogger are still endless! You can alter your page freely with CSS, the way you like it. You can also use a custom domain for your Blogger page, which I also have for one website. To make it short: YOU HAVE NO LIMITATIONS on Blogger and you don't even have to pay!

So, according to my opinion: Wordpress sucks and Blogger doesn't. If you want to start a business and you would like to have a professional website: use Blogger. I am using it and I have no complaints!

Update August 12: I kinda worked it out with the organisation, so I am still a web designer for them.
